Golden sands - alcudia??

I got an email from an agent marketing a development called golden sands. It seems a lot like alcudia smir.

Has anyone heard of golden sands before??

I have not heard of it. It however possible that the developer may have sold a parcel of land to other developers and inorder not to go through planning etc may have kept the style.

Saidia, development has been done by the same developer and there they have sold parcels of land. This is quite normal for developers to buy land start building on it in turn pushing the price of the land and ease their cash flow at the same time.

Dont you just love Capitalism ???????????????????????

I have invested in this. It is part of Alcudia Smir. I got mine through Property Showrooms who have only 60 apartments but most have gone

Is this a new development in alcudia, or just a section of alcudia that is called another name? If you don't mind me asking, which unit did you go for and how much? Also, where are these located??

This is AP2, a part of Alcudia. I have bought a 2 bed penthouse, overlooking the pool for £109K, but the real gem is it's only £10K down and nothing else until completion in about 18 months time.

I've heard about this development, In fact it's the AP2 plot of alcudia smir. I have to admit that the payment terms are very interesting, but in the other side , i'm wondering if there are some constraints concerning flipping the units.

I think that the down side of the units of golden sand is that they are located on the opposite side of the hill witch means that there will be no sea views.

As far as i'm concerned , i guess that best units are in AP1 and AP5, ap1 for biegn the first residentional area behind appart hotels ( closseness to the beach), and ap5 for beign located in a sloppy hill, with gives many of the units a good sea view, that means that if you buy to flip or to let , it will be easier to generate a good yield.

Why do people get so excted about sea views? Personally, I spend as little time as possible in my apartment, the most time being sitting on a balcony, beer in hand, waiting for the wife to get ready!!

Hi, just thought I'd drop you all a line, if you compare these prices to a year ago when you could get a 2 bed penthouse in the front plot for £70K, those penthouses arent as well priced I dont think.
I got one in the first launch , you might want to look at Athenea Golf penthouses instead, they are starting at around 126K Euros I think, looking to reserve one of these on pre-launch, 1st line golf on Med Saidia project!Just come out yetserday.Amanda
