Hi friends,
First time here - great forum. Keep it up.
I looked at Agadir sometime last year on a holiday. It wasn't really for any investment or holiday home....just really curiosity. At that time, I found apartments being advertised for around £40k or thereabouts. And these were spacious 2-3 bed units.
Just been looking around recently in Agadir, and I must say that prices have really shot up. Some of the units I found were around £80k and that's a whopping 100% increase in a year!!!
That's not even the WOAH part. It seems that development is only starting to happen in the region and prices are still considered cheap and affordable from an investment perspective. Well, cheap they are by european and overseas standards, but I'm not entirely sure how much uplift is possible in such a market. The main tourist market in the area seems to be German package holiday makers and not that many brits really.
But may be that could increase with time, and I think it will need to for the rental yields to sustain themselves with the increase in prices.
Just my 2p!
